Me: Cute, chubby girl dressed in orange, riding my bike along the river with two friends.
You: A blur of metal, rubber, sweat and a "Hi, Lindsay!"
That's all it took to make my day.
I was biking on the Riverfront Trail this evening and a huge-ass swarm of 30 or so bikers flew past me in the other direction...and towards the back of the Speedy VonSpeederson pack, you said hi. Sometimes just saying 'hi' is all it takes to make someone's day. I'm proof of that. Thanks.
I didn't even notice who you were, but you had a boy's voice...and you obviously knew me. I didn't have time to say 'hi' back, but it felt good to have the wind on my face, the sun on my back and sweat evaporating almost as quickly as my body could produce it. There was wonderful weather today. And you just made my day a little more wonderfuller.
