Hi. I have been running into a whole bunch of people in the past two weeks who I am really not ready to run into. I was wondering if we could schedule a run-in time? Would that work better for you, too? Good.
Work at the Glass Center has been really draining lately. I'm here (yeah, I'm here right now and it's Sunday night at 10:30pm) about 50-60 hours a week. That's when you realize having a salary isn't always better than an hourly pay. You can never win. Things at the Brew House are pretty quiet, which is nice. ...I still put in an assload of hours there a month, but it's not 1/2 as exhausting as the Glass Center right now. One of the main things is that I work at the same place I need to create my art. ...and that's just asking for trouble. I am a non-profit whore.
Cass has been in town for the past few days and that's been really great...but the day before he leaves (a.k.a., today) I get really bitchy because I realize that I'll be all alone again when he goes back to the City. I love Cass and I feel that we should be able to move Pittsburgh and New York City about 300 miles closer just based on that fact. He needs to be there and I need to be here. So it goes. But. Neither of us is blowing as much glass as we should since we don't live near each other anymore and that is disturbing.
I'm poor. Non-profit whores don't make much money. Therefore, I need a roommate to move into my loft. Know of anyone?
