sweet tits! i finally landed a new job. and the one i really wanted. i'm now the operations manager for the bach choir of pittsburgh [no, they don't only sing j.s.bach pieces] and i love it thusfar. not only am i making twice as much as i was at the record store, but the woman i work for is great and will eventually let me make my own 20-30 hour a week schedule. which is great. because i'm secretly a glassblower. and i need those hours off.
i'm also going to start trading the pittsburgh glass center blowtime for website maintenance three hours of work will equal one hour of blowtime. which is fine with me. man, finally things are starting to settle into place. it's sure as shit been a few rough months lately.
things are starting to settle into place, but i've been feeling crazier and crazier. which is weird. last week i did work about 60 hours [at the record store and for the choir], and being that i'm used to being in the leisure [as in purposefully-chosen-poverty-leisure] class, maybe that's why i've been a little off kilter...i'm not really sure why. well, i do have a small hint as too why, but we'll save that for another day.
ps. i live in a loft with two kittens. nothing is sacred.
